Allowed items
Recent editions allow CLEAR bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a non-clear small clutch up to 6 x 9 inches. Hydration packs (clear or not) are fine with two main compartments and one smaller one, but must be empty at the gate. Festival totems are allowed up to 10 feet tall if built from lightweight material like foam or PVC — no solid metal. Aerosol cans, glass, coolers, outside food and drink, tents, large umbrellas, chairs, blankets, and professional recording gear are barred; e-cigs and vapes are explicitly allowed. Confirm the current edition's list before you pack — Insomniac's official guide is the source of truth.

Entry, bag, camping, and vehicle policies can be updated before an edition. Open the official source close to departure and make your own packing decision from that current policy.
Do not plan around loopholes
We do not publish prohibited-item workarounds. When an item is unclear, leave it out or contact the event directly.

Acceptable items
- Deodorant
- E-cigs / vapes
- Festival totems or decorated pool noodles (see totem guidelines)
- Flags, banners or handmade signs — no corporate branding and no hard flagpoles
- Glowsticks, glowing or illuminated costumes and jewelry, LED poi and orbitals, hula hoops including LED hoops
- Hydration packs, clear or non-clear, with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment (must be empty upon entry)
- Non-professional flash/still cameras, handheld video devices under 6", and GoPro extendable poles
- Personal misting fan with a bottle no larger than 1.5L (must be empty upon entry)
- Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired
- Reusable water bottles (must be empty upon entry)
- Sealed intranasal naloxone
- Clear bags not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12"
- Small clutch bags not exceeding 6" x 9", clear or non-clear, with or without straps
Prohibited items
- Aerosol products and cans
- Balls or frisbees
- Costumes resembling public safety or event staff uniforms, including high visibility vests
- Drones, remote-controlled aircraft, toys
- Drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Gas masks
- Glass, cans, cups or coolers
- Illegal substances
- Laser pointers and air horns
- Markers, pens or spray paint
- Massagers
- Outside food or beverages, including alcohol and candy
- Over-the-counter medication
- Pets
- Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment
- Red-colored light-up wands, batons, or lightsabers
- Stickers, flyers
- Tents, large umbrellas, chairs, or blankets
- Toy guns, water guns, slingshots
- Weapons of any kind, including pocket knives, pepper spray and fireworks
- Wind chairs / sofas
