Glastonbury
Weather & terrain

Somerset in June can serve four seasons in one weekend: warm sun, sideways rain, and famously deep mud, sometimes all before Friday's headliner. Nights on the farm get genuinely cold.

The typical range

Expect days 60-72°F (16-22°C) at the hottest point and nights 46-55°F (8-13°C) — that swing, not the average, is what your layers need to cover. Farm nights get properly cold even after warm days — a real fleece or jumper plus a waterproof shell. If you sleep cold, pack the extra layer for the tent; canvas does not hold heat.

Build around conditions, not averages

Historical conditions help you choose categories, but a current forecast and official alerts should decide your final layer, rain, dust, and heat plan.

A simple final check

Seven days out, recheck the forecast, event communications, travel route, and your official rules source. Repack only what those current conditions change.
