Outside Lands
Allowed items
Outside Lands takes clear plastic or vinyl backpacks, non-clear bags up to 6" x 8" x 3", and empty dedicated hydration packs under 2.5L with no more than one extra pocket. Umbrellas, coolers, outside liquids, and any chair with legs are on the not-permitted list, and there is no re-entry once you scan in for the day. The official info page carries the current version.
Use the official policy
Entry, bag, camping, and vehicle policies can be updated before an edition. Open the official source close to departure and make your own packing decision from that current policy.
Do not plan around loopholes
We do not publish prohibited-item workarounds. When an item is unclear, leave it out or contact the event directly.
